ASUR 2 - a techie's take
Alright. so this is the Asur's timeline we're functioning in. I didn't want to take on this show cause it's a perfectly written one? this is what I though when saw the first season.
In first season, the plot starts with a CBI's forensic team investigating a serial killer who murders people. and it roots follow in Hindu mythology. In terms of detail, it actually felt a perfectly written one. specially, in terms of the accuracy of forensic terminologies and how the CBI operates.
But in the second season, the filmmakers really taken the turn to involve Artificial Intelligence and Quantum Computing and mix it with our Hindu Mythology. And it really makes the perfect fusion. And the story plot really go through behind the scenes of how SIGNAL intelligence and OSINT works. So, i really thought to shitpost my perspective on this. [BTW, I'm not going to look into it's positive here cause that's already out there. so, this is like a critism from a fan]
1st - that Subh giving a choice to the people before forcing them do the notorious event. Like one of scene, Subh parcels a kind of controller which have 2 buttons to make the choice of
who they wanna save? the one who believes in God or the one who doesn't?
And here our beloved character, Dhananjay Rajpoot breaks that damn controller into two pieces! I mean, like you're the fckin CBI. your only job is to locate and find that damn Asur, Subh. And what you did? You could have sent that to your team and they can atleast try to reverse engineer that controller and can locate that where does the data packets are actually going on. Suppose, they chose to click on of the button, now that choice is must going to Subh's system, right? so, there's a possibility of locating Subh's machine. But naah.
2nd - so you're telling me that there's a professor who's working on quantum computing and developing a neural network model, and suddenly that guy disappeared and no one from the institute questions and investigate? I mean who provided him resources to start these research? CDAC? IIT- M? TIFR? RRI? who? And it's been five years since our professor had disappeared and no investigation was going on. It only started when Subh came in?
3rd - this is crazy shit, bhai. like, how our Subh is able to broadcast all his videos, warnings and all with mask-on to screens all over the India, heh? TV, smartphones even into our CBI's HQ?. I mean, does he go on to click on a ZOOM call meeting link and then share his screen? WOW. Nice.
4th - yes. Naina. she is our Elliot or Darlene Alderson? the only difference is that Elliot and Darlene used to write payloads by themself, Naina just goes onto GitHub and clone's the repo into her machine.
5th - again, Naina. In this scene, our "NSA grade hacker" Naina can been seen discussing that "a gaming console also has a hard drive, right? LMAO.
6th - again. yes. Naina ji. In this scene, she just hacked into blockchain. WOW.
7th - IDK. this is the only plus point with Naina ji that atleast she's using Arch-linux based distro Manjaro with KDE.
8th - aah, again it's Sillicon Valley VS Naina ji. She goes what she's famous for. She hacks into the social media giant, Spell-Notion's server with the help of NSA-Cyber Command? ROFL.
9th - oh, yes. here's our Subh's mindfucking lab which have like enormous computing powers and Quantum Computer too wo bhi between a Himalayan village. IDK, bro. How the fck, Subh built that base. I mean fr, kaise? How he imported those servers and where does he getting electricity from? He imported like a MNC's computing level sized servers and took it to mountains? WOW.
